Fight or Flight

A mercenary takes on the job of tracking down a target on a plane but must protect that target when they're surrounded by people trying to kill both of them.
Sheex says:
James Madigan’s *Fight or Flight* soars on the strength of its cast, despite a script that never quite lands. The action-comedy, clocking in at a brisk 102 minutes, maintains a relentless pace, making for an undeniably entertaining ride. Josh Hartnett delivers a performance with a grizzled charm that anchors the chaotic airborne premise. His chemistry with Charithra Chandran, though occasionally underdeveloped, provides some much-needed levity amidst the mayhem. Katee Sackhoff, as expected, brings a commanding presence to her role, elevating every scene she’s in. While the individual performances are solid, the characters themselves feel somewhat underwritten, preventing a deeper connection. Ultimately, the film’s narrative falters, relying heavily on contrivances that strain belief. Yet, the sheer enjoyment derived from the escalating absurdity and well-executed action sequences largely compensates for its narrative shortcomings. *Fight or Flight* is a popcorn flick through and through, proving that a good time can still be had even when the plot struggles to take off.
